BOUNDARY (ORIGINAL AND RETRACEMENT)

What a surveyor is typically know for. This involves the placement of markers, or the confirmation of their location, as they relate to the historical document (deed) and the adjoining properties.


SURVEYOR LOCATION REPOR

A drawing of the improvements on a parcel and how they relate to the boundaries of the parcel. No stakes are placed and should not be relied on for proposed improvements. Typically required by a lending instiution.



SUBDIVISION DESIGN / PROCESS

This area of practice guides the client / developer though the governmental process (every county and city is different) of platting one or numerous subdivision lots.


ELEVATION CERTIFICATES

A federal document used in the construction or verification of elevations of improved or vacant property. This document can be used to assesess risk for insuracen agents regarding flood insurace.



ALTA / ACSM Survey

A specialized survey that adheres to national standards, genrally used when conveying comerial priperty.


CONSTRUCTION LAYOUT

Whether it is a house or a hotel. A street or a utilty. The survyor marks where the proposed improvements hall be located.
